| I have completed the Latest N-Series for my collection today. Bought this phone yesterday and must say that this set ( and its tech. Spec ) is similarlty to N85. Although my N82 win a bit with on its camera function ( xenon Flash ) esp taking picture in the dark, but this N79 photo Quality finish when taking outdoor is superb. My next N-Series will be N97 after reading good views bout this phone in several HP magazines.

| Jinx try turning off theme effects for the particular theme you are using, can be found by selecting options whilst your currently selected theme is highlighted in theme selection page. Personally I like Haze theme with the light sensor to full in display settings, gives excellent contrast ratio.
With theme effects tuned off the menu's whizz around really well. Works for me and my lovely N79.

| Bought an N79 because of the powerful function, but regret that the opening time is slow, like opening my camera, gallery, mp3, is always lagging. Still await for the new firmware (Have been waiting fir 1 1/2 month). Hope that will heal the problem.
Some comment:
The keypad is too small and flat to press.
Mp3 response is slow.
it really hang some time.
hope that there is a tourch light function like wat sonny ericsson have.

| Normally there is at least an upgrade firmware for the mid-end Nokia phones after you bought it. My previous N70 do have some minor hiccups after i bought it, but after upgrade the firmware on my own thru the net it was running perfectly.
Now on my new E66 and so far the processor is damn fast without any hanging at all. Still looking forward for a new firmware perhaps to prolong the battery from draining down.
So dont duly worry about any problems you encountered with your phone, there is a solution in sight. Nokia engineers ain't stupid sitting down there, rite?
They needs consumers like us to report back to them our problems for their future improvements.
